The stock that is shown as available in our online shop is what is physically available in our practice and is ready to be shipped immediately. We are able to source almost all our listed frames in other colours. We do not provide prescription lenses through our online store. If you wish to have a prescription put into your new frames, come visit us in our Bondi Junction store for a comprehensive eye test and we will discuss with you what lens options will best suit your needs. Make an appointment here.

Most health funds will only allow you to claim on the complete pair of glasses once a prescription has been put in. If you purchase a frame and have had prescription lenses put into them at your own optometrist, please email us and we will send you an invoice with the appropriate item numbers and provider numbers required by your health fund.

All shipments are made via Australia Post within 1-2 business days of order date. We use Express Post shipping so your new frames should be with you the next business day in metropolitan areas. Delivery may take up to 7 business days in more regional areas.
You also have the option of coming in store to collect, in which case we will help adjust your new glasses to fit you perfectly.

We provide free Express Post shipping for all frame purchases! There is the option to insure your purchase for an additional fee as per Australia Post's fee schedule.

We do not accept change of mind returns. However, if you come into our Bondi Junction practice within 30 days of receiving your purchase, we will inspect the frame for any possible damage and we will gladly offer an exchange provided it is in "new" condition.

All frames sold through our online shop have been thoroughly inspected before shipping to ensure your frames arrive to you in pristine condition. If damage has occurred during shipping and you have paid for insured shipping, we will send you a replacement frame at the cost of Australia Post. Please take photographic evidence of any damage to the packaging prior to opening the package.

All purchases from our online shop are shipped via Australia Post Express Post. This means all shipments will have tracking numbers and you can see where your package has gone.
If your package was lost in transit and you have paid for insurance, we will send you a replacement frame as soon as possible at the cost of Australia Post.
If your package was lost in transit and you have NOT paid for insurance, Australia Post will not cover the loss and we can only offer you a $100 credit for another purchase.
If your package was delivered and left in a safe place, please look around for the package. Any thefts as a result of the package being left will not be at fault of Alter Eyewear or Australia Post.

All our frames come with a standard 12 months manufacturer's warranty. This covers all manufacturing defects that may have caused a weakness in the structure of the frame. Please email us with pictures to show any faults and we will do our best to help you resolve any issues as soon as possible.
